Mr Miyake is the founder of Issey Miyake. He is born in Hiroshima, Japan on 22nd April 1938. Miyake Design Studio was establish in the year 1970 and started off in the garment business. Since his retirement from the fashion world in 1997, he still overseeing the overall directions of all lines created by his staff of the company.

Issey Miyake had launched the fragrance's line in the year of 1992.
